Ph.D. Admissions 2023: 1st Round (UGC NET/JRF Qualified Applicants): Submission of Research Proposals

All eligible candidates (i.e., those qualified in UGC NET/JRF in SOCIOLOGY) must submit a Research Proposal pertaining to their proposed Ph.D. research via THIS FORM ONLY.
Ph.D. proposals must be not exceeding a total of 2500 words (Longer proposals may attract negative weightage) and contain the following. 

  1. Title
  2. Research Objective
  3. Literature Review
  4. Methodology – primary sources, fieldwork plans, field site, timetable
  5. References
Proposals must be only in WORD or PDF Format.
Candidates whose proposals are found to be plagiarized will be disqualified.
The Proposals must bear ONLY the applicants FULL APPLICATION NUMBER and not their name or any other identity details. Proposals bearing any other identification marks will be disqualified.
The file name must be the candidates FULL APPLICATION NUMBER.
The last date for the submission of the Research Proposal is 11.59 PM, 19 August, 2023. Late Proposals will not be accepted.
