In response to the previous notice put up on the Department website, the following candidates have submitted their research proposals to the Department and are found provisionally eligible (subject to verification of all information provided) for Round II.
Subject to their fulfilling all other eligibility requirements, these candidates will be called for the Department Level Test and Interview.
Candidates who have not applied afresh for Round II via the University portal are not eligible for this round.
Further candidates who have secured less than 50% marks in the NTA test (45% for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and PWD) are also not eligible for this round of interviews.
Candidates who had not applied in Round I or were not eligible in Round I owing to their NET/JRF being in a discipline other than Sociology and have also not provided their NTA score have not been included in this list as their eligibility could not be ascertained.
Finally, candidates who have not submitted their research proposal via the google form have also not been included in this list since submission of the same is mandatory.
Candidates who believe that they should have been included in this list since they fulfil the above stated criteria should email ONLY at phd@sociology.du.ac.in will full details (NAME, NEW FORM NUMBER, CLAIM REGARDING ELIGIBILITY) by 28th of December 2023.
Please note that the Interview Schedule will be posted on the department website later. As mentioned in the previous notice the interviews will be held after the DLT held on the 12th of January, 2024 but they may be on a day other than the 12th of January.
