Following the DU Academic Calendar, IV classes for MA will begin in the department on Thursday, 5th January 2023 as per the TIME TABLE.
Students are encouraged to audit all elective courses in the first week and must submit their optional course choices form before 8 pm on Thursday, 12th January 2023 via THIS LINK.
The department is offering an Open Elective (Sociological Thinkers) this semester for students from departments other than sociology. This is the only 4 credit elective available for students from other departments, and sociology department students cannot take this as an elective. Open elective classes will be held from 3pm to 4.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the department as indicated in the department time table.
Students from other departments who wish to take the open elective must fill the optional course choices form via THIS LINK.
