The M.A., M.Phil./ Ph.D. entrance examinations will focus on testing the analytical and interpretative abilities of candidates with questions based on logic and comprehension and not on book knowledge alone. Students may wish to consult the B.A. syllabus of Delhi University for a general understanding of sociology but this is not an essential requirement for the examinations. We test the students’ ability to study sociology and not their book knowledge.
